| 1. 25mm 0.45micron MCE filter cassettes can be attached to a vacuum pump using PVC tubing. 2. A flow rate of 10 LPM is sufficient to collect dust into the cassette. 3. We recommend using a template to establish and standardize sampling areas (carpet, furniture, bedding, etc.). 4. Check clear window at inlet end of cassette to determine that an appreciable amount of dust has collected. 5. A minimum of 100mg of dust is required for allergen analysis.
